Campillos FIA European – 06/04

The first round of the FIA European Karting Championship 2025 in Campillos, Spain, ended with a mix of highs and lows. It was a challenging weekend, both technically and mentally, but full of valuable insights to grow from.

Qualifying went well, with a solid P10 in my group, which gave me confidence and motivation heading into the heats. Throughout the heats, I was mostly able to maintain a strong race pace, showing good consistency and a determined approach. I made some strong overtakes and moved up in the field in several sessions, but a few setbacks also came into play—a contact at the start of one of the heats forced me to retire early, which affected my overall standings.

The final heat on Sunday morning, crucial for qualifying into the final, turned out to be the most difficult. I couldn’t find the right feeling with the kart or the same rhythm I had earlier in the weekend, and that cost me important positions. Unfortunately, the points lost in this heat weren’t enough to secure a place in the final.

Although the final result wasn’t what I had hoped for, I’m proud of the way I approached the weekend—with focus, determination, and the will to keep improving. I’ve learned a lot from managing different situations and pushing through the tough moments.

After two intense weeks in Spain, between the opening round of the Champions of the Future and this first race of the FIA European Championship, it’s time to head home, recharge, and prepare for what’s next.

My next goal is the upcoming round in Portimão, Portugal, in three weeks, for the second race of the Champions of the Future, followed by Round 2 of the FIA European Championship right after.

I’m ready to keep working hard and come back stronger than ever.
